Who
Am I?

I bring a fresh perspective and a heart for service that Texas District 17 deserves in Congress. After years of supporting my husband through his twenty two year Army career, we made the choice to retire here because this community felt like home. We found a place where our children could grow, where our family could breathe, and where neighbors show up for each other without being asked.

When I look around our district, I see the same strength that carried us through every move, every deployment, and every unknown. Families here work hard, care deeply, and want nothing more than stability, opportunity, and leaders who tell the truth. That is why I am running. My commitment to this community is personal. It is tied to the soil we raise our children on and the people who have surrounded us with support since the day we arrived.

My background includes service in Army administration, overseas work with the Air Force, and time as an executive assistant to a U.S. Space Force commander. These experiences taught me discipline, humility, and the power of steady leadership. Today, in my work supporting veterans as a Financial Assistance Coordinator, I see the struggles many families face in real time. Housing insecurity, rising costs, and the impact of federal decisions on local lives are not abstract issues to me. They are stories I hear every day.

Now that the government has reopened, families across District 17 are still feeling the stress and uncertainty that the shutdown created. Groceries cost more, wages have not kept up, and many households remain one setback away from crisis. These moments remind us how much transparency, honesty, and accountability matter. Our government should never leave people guessing if their needs will be met. Trust is earned, not promised, and it has to start with leaders who are willing to be open with the people they serve.

I believe deeply in term limits, in shining light on how decisions are made, and in restoring faith in public service. But more than that, I believe in us. I believe in the strength of our teachers, our farmers, our small business owners, our veterans, and every family doing their best in a system that has not always been fair to them. When we talk about bridging the gap, we are talking about closing the distance between what people need and what they actually receive from their government.

This district is my home. It is where my children practice, play, learn, and dream. It is where my husband and I chose to plant our future after a lifetime of service. It is where I have found my purpose. I am working with community partners, local organizations, and families across District 17 to build something better. Together, we can create a stronger, safer, and more honest Texas, one where every family knows they matter and every voice is heard.
